This book is the product of her homeschooling experience. I never cease to be amazed at the energy and creativity of young patriots! Juliette’s book is finding a permanent home in our library.

We have been homeschoolers for a while, but this is our first year to have 2 high schoolers and a kindergartener at the same time! I would love to have the book. I am teaching American History this year.

I think it’s important to raise patriots. I’ve been aware lately how much of a poorly informed voter I am…I don’t remember learning anything useful in school about being patriotic…I hope to change that as we homeschool our children. Thanks for the opportunity to win!
What a fun book to give away!! The constitution is still such an important and relevant document! I wish our politicians would agree.; ))).. It is our responsibility whether we homeschool or not to make sure we are raising civic minded children. This blog is so relevant .. It’s so important to Raise Patriots!!

One way I’m trying to raise my children to be patriots is by teaching them the history of our great nation and by having them accompany me to the polls every time they’re open. The visits to the polls never fail to start a discussion about why we vote, what a privilege it is, how our government is set up, and more!

I highly recommend the “Wee Sing America” CD. I plan to buy it myself this year for my 10-year old son.
I used to have it on cassette tape for my older children to listen to. Awesome! One side has the Pledge of Allegiance, Star-Spangled Banner and other patriotic songs.
The second side is full of folk songs that you’ve probably never heard! I know I hadn’t. They are SO fun.
I had a “later in life” child. :) No more cassette tapes! I’ll have to buy it on CD, but I’m looking forward to hearing these songs again myself.
